Reso Verb
What is String Reverb?
"String reverb" is a term we coined to describe the reverb-like effect of resonating strings. Our first instrument to feature this effect was the Reso Harp, a guitar with 10 additional strings on board.
String Reverb 2.0 – Reso Verb
Prototype
As fun as the Reso Harp is, the potential of a standalone unit was obvious. We understood that many players would prefer the resonating strings to be separate for a variety of reasons:
Instrument weight
Cost of standalone unit vs. a custom guitar
Pedalboard integration
Not using a guitar at all!
Our new product – Reso Verb – is currently in development and slated for a 2020 release.
Blurring the line between effect and instrument, the Reso Verb can be played with guitar, bass, keyboard, cassette player... if it makes noise, plug it in.
Ten tuneable strings are powered by a sustaining pickup that reacts to your playing, while an insertable bridge opens up enhanced voicings via a full suite of harmonic ratios.
